The concept of this photo is the grasp the happiness that fills the air during the holiday Holi. Holi is a Hindu spring festival celebrated in February or March. The girl in this photo is a tourist showing how the holiday unites different communities to have a fun celebration for everyone to join in. In other pictures in Bikas Das' portfolio, you can tell that his interest is in the hardships of India. This photo however, embraces the joy by the reinforcement of the color. The bright streaks of paint on the girl's face represent a light and happy mood during the festival.
