This photo was taken in South Africa. The photo looks like a body of water with a horizon, but it brings it all together when you have the sunset on one side and the darkness on the other to bring good color and contrast. Also, when the sunset meets the water it gives the picture a nice reflection. Malan said "his goal is to capture the moments when the elements of nature combine."
