In China, smog from increasing population and over industrialization has become a huge problem, and was highlighted to the rest of the world during the 2008 summer Olympics held in Beijing. In this photo I chose for the color blog post, there isn't a whole lot of color. Because of the smog, what is typically a very bright and beautiful country full of color has become desaturated. This can be seen slightly in the background of the image. A bright red banner displaying what looks to be a political officer of some sort is barely visible only three hundred or so feet away. To summarize, the concept of this image is the increasing problem of smog in China's overpopulated cities, and the lack of bright color because of the smog in the image reinforces this issue.
