Would You Buy It?

I really liked my in studio photos except for the picture of the egg falling over and the yolk falling out I think it looks fuzzy. My out of studio photos don't really match my in studio ones. The back ground on most of the out of studio is black because it was in a pan and the in studio one are on a white background and they are too different. My favorite photo is the two eggs cracking (in studio) I think it interesting when the shell cracks and it is a very claer and sharp image. I also dislike the one of studio picture of the eggshells on the granite back ground because it kind of has a glare and the speckles are annoying. I don't think I put it in a good sequence because I just put in studio pictures then out of studio.

Ad Critique

I think my project turned out very well. I am pleased with my pictures but I do wish I had more time to take some better pictures with other ideas I had. I feel like the composition of my photos were very good but I think my lighting could have been a bit better. I tried to keep the logo very simple so what was in the image would stand out. I also think I had very strong shallow depth of field photos to make the ice cream the focus point of the image. Overall, I think my photos were a good representation for what I was trying to sell and were different from one another.

Would you buy it?

In my project, I think that I could have been more creative. Overall I think the project is ok, I like the angles which some of the pictures were taken at and I like the use of volts in my project. However, I do not like my lighting for the most part and I need some straighter lines and have some cropping issues. Also, I think my ad needed to be place better and have been more even/straight. Going with creativeness, I think I overused the closeness to which I shot and should have tried something else.

Would I Buy It?

Regarding my project, I feel that my in studio shots were more successful than my out of studio shots. The contrast between the sleek back background and the bright color of the lipsticks helped to really emphasize my product. I used negative space within most of my studio shots, but used specific framing in my last photo as well as my out of studio shots, to bring the attention to my product. I placed my logo in the corners of my photos, so it would not take away from the picture. Although I want people to take notice of it, I don't want it to overpower the actual photo.

Regarding the sequence of my photos, I started with my second strongest photo, then proceeded with my worst then building up to my best photo being last. I want to catch the consumers attention initially, and sustain it throughout the slide show.

Project Critique

I think that my project went well. I think I used the principles of design to create balance in all of my images. I think I used a good, bright mix of colors in my images. I like the colors in my images, but I think the lighting might be too dim in some of my studio images. The main thing I'm concerned about is my logo's size and placement. In some of my images, I think the logo might be too big, and takes over the image. It also is in the same place for most of my images, which might be too repetitive. The size of the 'n' and the 't' in my logo looks a little funky, and odd, which I don't like. I did not use blending options at all for my logo, which I think is ok. I like that my logo is simple. For proportion, I don't think that I wasted any space in my images which is a good thing. The flowers are the main focus. I have tried to create a good sequence of pictures in my powerpoint by mixing up the studio images and the outside images.

Would you buy it?

Overall, I think my project was a success. I think working in the studio went well. I think my images turned out better than I expected them too. My studio shots had great lighting, and the use of cupcakes, cookies, and crushed up oreos made my background and shoe look really interesting. My out of studio photos were poorly taken. I think I could have done better by not distracting the viewer's attention towards the logo of the shoe. I should've added food in these photos to make them look kind of like the ones that I shot in the studio. My 3 out of the studio shots were not really working well with my logo for the product.  My logo for this product was ok. I could've done better and made it more fun, and blended it in with the photo.  I think I could've done better with the last photos, but I'm happy with the outcome.

Would i buy it?

In my project i think the main thing that worked was my positioning of the subject of my photo. My favorite photos were the ones i took in the studio because i had more time to figure out how i wanted to place my object. My least favorite photo was the milk one because i don't like how i positioned the logo, and lighting is not ideal. I feel the logo's are in similar positions in many photos and i wish there was more variety of where they were. Over all i would buy my project because i feel the message is conveyed well and the pancakes look appetizing.

"Books" By: P.S.

I think my advertisement project was very successful. I really like the flow and the overall theme of reading in dim light. I like how all the photos mainly had the same lighting, which emphasizes how important it is to read. I really like how almost at the end of my presentation, the lighting gets brighter in my images, which I think makes the project better as a whole. I think this is my best project so far. I really focused on getting the photo to be straight and clean. One problem I had with my project was my logo. I think that it made the atmosphere of the photo worse. I think that if my project were not advertising something, then it would be excellent, although I do already think my project is good. I think that my in studio photos are good and bad in their own way as well as my out of studio photos. One thing I had a problem with is my photo of the book and paper. The two object did not align causing one of the lines to not be straight, which irritates me. Also, the lighting on the paper of the book is too bright and not as in focus as a result. Another problem for me is the photo of the glasses. I think that the reflection and the text on the glasses stand out and make the photo not as good. If I was able to get rid of these, the photo would have been better.
Overall, I think the photos that I did not talk about were very good compositions. My favorite part of my project was the emphasis on lighting. I really liked how my project turned out.

would I buy it?

I would buy headphones from my made up brand Spark*. I believe that in my photos the headphones were clear, easy to see, and where my eyes are drawn. I like the way the advertisements showed the viewer that you can either listen alone or share with a friend. I named the company spark because when you listen to music it sparks though and can really make you think. The astrid at the end was symbolic of the light that goes off in your head when you think of an idea.

advertisement project

For my ad project I am photographing masquerade masks. One thing that I think is working throughout the project is that the lighting in my photos really illuminates the sparkles and bright colors of the feathers on the masks. One thing that I think is not working is the lighting of the background in my pictures that were taken in the studio. In these few pictures the background looks kind of grey instead of a dark black that is supposed to make the items look like they are floating in space. I tried to crop my pictures a little more tight than normal so that the background is not too distracting, but I also left enough room for the logo of my item. I tried to place my logo in a place where you can see it and recognize but also where it won't take away from the actual picture. I tried to keep the logo in a good proportion to the photo, not too small as to where you can't see it but, again not too big as to take away from the product. I used blending options only as needed, and I do not think that I over did it in any way. I set up my slide show in a way that I think it flows. I started with the photos that were taken in the studio and with the photos that the most masks and then moved to the photo with less masks in the studio. I then moved on to the photos that I took outside of the studio and moved from the most to the least masks.

the daily grind

In my project, I photographed coffee. I think that my project was overall was pretty good. I decided to photograph pictures at Starbucks because when i think of coffee thats what i think of. I think theses pictures there were my weakest of my whole project. My favorite picture is the last one. I was trying to do a stopping motion of spilled coffee but then i decided to do a setup of a table with a tea looking set, although it may look like tea, I always think of a proper sunday morning breakfast on a porch sort of thing. To help support my idea I used a news paper, and reading glasses. My worst picture is the half and half and sugar at Starbucks, because it was hard not to get the Starbucks logo in the picture, i had a weird background and weird lighting. Overall, I think that I would buy my product.

Why you would buy it?

My advertisement is successful in that you can see as a buyer that they can be used for a good purpose. I think my in studio shots are a little better than my out of studio shots because it is more of a controlled environment. I think my negative safe is there for a reason because it shows the back ground. I also think my logo ties in well because I matched the shoe color with the word coloring and shoes kinda fun in a way and I think my logo conveys that.

would i buy it?

yes i think my project was a success. It incorporated good quality photos with a catchy name. The photos were appealing and the bright colors made my photo stand out. My name rhymed and made sense. The logo was simple but eye catching. Overall I'm proud of my work and I would buy my object. My logo placement was consistently in the bottom right corner but when not there it was cleverly placed somewhere else that incorporated it into the image. I used the color orange in the logo to simply represent the color of an orange and surrounded it in a black outline.

AD

I believe my advertisement is overall successful. Nail polish is a commodity but it's nice to have and I believe that my advertisement does a good job of interesting the viewer to actually notice the product and not just see it. I think that on the pictures with fire I could have done a better job of putting more focus on the specific color of the nail polish. When I shot the pictures of the nail polish with water I found it difficult to be creative so I think those pictures aren't as exciting. I think my choice of color for my logo is good because its playful, as is nail polish. I think I would buy my advertised nail polish.

Would you buy it?

Overall, I think my pictures and project turned out successful. I really think the best picture I have is of the candy being mirrored (the out of studio pictures). My worst photo was the one of the candy on the ground and the hands in the candy. I feel like my in studio pictures, with the lighting, is a little dark. I have a little bit of negative framing, and wasted space, but it looks good with the picture and blends in well. I feel like I placed my logo in the right spot, which means to not have the logo running into the picture, to where you can't see half the logo. I feel like I could have worked on my logo more. It is a little to simple and could have made it better if I had more time. I focused on having a lot of color in my pictures, and I feel that that worked well with the in studio pictures.

Honey Loops

I think that my advertisement project worked well. I feel that used depth of field and point of view in a strong, yet simple way. In one of my studio photos I had too much white space where my logo is. In that same photo with too much blank space, the lighting looks lighter in some spots and darker in others. I think that on one of my photos, I could have shot with a perspective that was more on top. Overall I don't think I shot the same concept over and over again, but had a diverse selection of photos to represent my product. I think that my project has a fun atmosphere and I would buy it!

deLIGHTful

I think that my candle advertisement was overall successful.  I think that my in studio shots are a lot stronger than my out of studio shots though.  I think that the lighting of the in studio pictures effected this tremendously.  I feel like a lot of my pictures have the same overall idea and I wish I would have added a little more diversity to them.  I think that my best picture is my last photo in my powerpoint. It is the picture with all the small candles going off into the distance.  I think that picture is very strong altogether with the composition and lighting working out nicely together.   I really like my logo because it pops off the black backgrounds of my photos.  It is interesting and different but not too crazy.  I think that my label placement is different than normal but clean and not too distracting. Some of my pictures have a large amount of negative space but I think without the negative space the picture would not look as good.  Overall I think that I would buy my product.

would I buy it

I think my add showed how flowers are used in a variety of ways. I used lighting from brighter lights in my studio shots, darker ones at the graveyard, and a blue tone for the bath shots. I filled my shots fully and tried my best to make the uneven curved lines in the bath shots look clean. I placed my logo in one of the four corners so it was repeating. I faded my logo in softer photos so it wouldn't overpower the shots. I didn't think reading my logo was a must after seeing my title page, because it had a distinct flower lay out, so when you saw the petals you thought, "Pick a Petal'" and recognized the design immediately. If I did not have a title page clearly showing my logo, I would change the logo to be readable. I wanted my slide show to go from; light, dark, and a cool tone. I ended the slideshow with my best image and started it with my next most successful shot. When I look through my slides, I see flowers in different spots, different lighting and they are in places where you would find flowers. My studio shots demonstrated different happy events where flowers can be given; valentines day, graduation, random small gifts, and a loving get well. My out of studio shots clashed with happy events and were more sad events where beautiful flowers are still used. I wanted darker and stronger colors for the shots in the graveyard, I believe I accomplished that well. I put my sister in a bath(she had clothes on) with flowers and told her just to soak. Without knowing my sister dozed off, I loved that without telling her, the flowers relaxed her and sent her into a slumber. Im proud of the bath shots and believe it shows how relaxing flowers are in the most simple of ways. I earnestly believe my project shows how often flowers are used and that you should buy them for others, or yourself, successfully making you want to buy my flowers.

Think about your ad project. Be critical. What is working? What is not? Think about your principles of design. Consider color theory. Negative space vs. framing? Did you place your logo productively? What about proportion? Did you use blending options enough? Overuse? I want you to look at each image in your slideshow and consider these questions as a jumping off point. When you are finished, consider sequence. Typically, you end with your strongest and begin with the next best shot, but you also want a nice flow from one image to the next. Really think about these questions and respond in a separate post. I want to know what you see before I tell you what I see.

Ad Critique

I believe that my project turned out well and how I wanted. I think that the composition of the orange carrots against the white background turned out nice. I also liked using the googly eyes for a playful effect. I tried using principles of movement, proportion and asymmetry for drama and more interesting photos. I also had sequence in mind. I put my photos in order of what you do with carrots: grow them, buy them, put them in the fridge, chop them, and use them in recipes. I think that I placed my logos well in all except one where I put it in front of the carrot tops. I tried to keep it simple by having the logo all orange and creative placement, so I did not use any special effects. I had problems with the lighting out of studio since most of them were inside using my kitchen lights. I wish I planned better so they looked more appealing. Overall, I'm happy with my project.

Ad response

I think the concept that bouncy balls are meant for all ages shows well throughout my project. I like most of my pictures except the one with the smoothie because it looks kinda blurry and the lighting is too yellow and it seems so bland and boring compared to everything else. I focused on color a lot in my project and I think it worked out well. With the negative space that I had, I filled it with my ad or at least I tried to. I think you should use as much space in a photo as possible but without making it feel too cluttered. I could've done more with my logo but I tried to keep it as simple as possible while still being original. I wasn't sure which photo to end with because I like my last two equally. I chose the pie because I want that to be the last one in the viewers mind since it really shows my idea of bouncy balls in food. In some of the photos the logo seems a little awkward as well. I wanted it to look stamped on though but I couldn't get the sizing right sometimes. I'm also not sue if I like the transition between my title slide and first photo and how the logo is the same. It kinda ties the two together but I don't want it to seem repetitive.

Re: Would you buy it?

The worst parts of my project are the lighting and lack of diversity in the type of pictures taken.  I didn't realize until I opened my photos in bridge that they all were too dark and gave off a gray appearance.  I was able to fix this by adjusting the exposure but in some cases this made the white parts of the image too bright.  This will be something I will have to keep in mind next time we are in the studio.  Besides for the lighting, all my pictures are essentially the same just rearranged slightly differently, both in and out of the studio.  I don't like to make excuses but I was a little rushed for time after I had finished shooting only to find all my photos were gone. Nonetheless, I could have added a little more variety to the photos.  One of the things that worked well for me was the bright colors in the shoe and the objects around it.  This really helped with the clown theme of the add.  Although the photos outside are very similar, the lighting was really good giving the photos an almost overdramatic effect.  Lastly, I really like the logo for the project.  Looking back on my powerpoint, the sequence is a little off; the photos don't really transition from worst to best but are just clumped together by in our out of studio. But would I buy it? Not until in the market for some clown gear.

?To Buy or Not to Buy?

I would say the best part of my Advertisement is the structure of how I placed the physical objects in the scene. I am trying to have a theme of unity; or sense of community through politics and government. In my opinion, people often overlook things like size, race, number and quality over quantity. Personally, I am very aware of the specific laws within the government. I think it's important to become more economically and spiritually aware of those around us. My least favorite part of my project would have to be some of the lighting and angles my images are shot at. I could definitely work at lining things up better and cropping. I fully support my message of "coming together" to bring a big awareness of social activity as well as physical attractions. I strongly believe we all need each other not only as a community; but a country as well. Men need each other a majority of the time to be able to carry support and a great deal of strength in carrying on their family name and history. Men show true bravery and courage, especially the leaders higher up and those fighting for our life and the lives of others. Because of that; I want to show my gratitude through this project.

Drastic Dolls

Overall, I think that my project was successful. I enjoy how my studio pictures turned out. My other five photos, I am happy with, but I feel that I needed to crank up the exposure on some of them. I could have done more scenario shots, but i feel that the solo pictures were just as successful. The lighting on my non studio images was mediocre at best. I should have been more consistent with my F-stop and shutter speed. I did really well with the design of the logo and the placement of it throughout the photos. I really enjoy the outcome of my project, the images were successful and did a good job portraying what I was advertising.

Pasta

I think my project was an overwhelming success. I am very happy with the end result and how each image turned out. There were extremely minor adjustments that i would have liked to make, but don't detract from the overall project very much at all. If i were an unassuming citizen and i happened to come across these advertisements i would feel compelled to visit the restaurant/store. I feel like i used  the various photoshop tools well and did not overuse or underuse any of them. My logo placement varied from image to image, but it was placed well in each picture nonetheless. The sequence of my photos is designed to save the best images for last and leave my least favorites near the front. Overall, i am very happy with the final result of this project and think it is some of the best work i have done.

AD project

I think that my ad on peanut butter was successful because I used the black background to enhance what was in the photo and made the background somewhat fallout. With my logo I was able to place them in the corners where they did not interfere with my photos which I think is good. Also, for this project I used blurred motion which I felt was successful. I tried to put the photos that related together most to make the flow of the pictures together too.

Toilet Paper

Overall I think most of my project was successful, however there are also a few things I could fix. I think the picture of the girl’s legs and the toilet paper was successful.  The most successful part of that picture in my opinion was the lighting. Another picture I liked was the superman picture in the studio. This is not only a successful piece with good lighting but also adds character to the advertisement that many people like when they see advertisements. Another picture with character was the one of the toilet paper couple. Even though this does have character, I think the setting could have been more successful. Another picture that needs improvement was the picture taken in the bathroom. The lighting was not good in this picture and could have been more successful if I used a tripod instead of a stack of books. Another thing I would fix is the logo itself. This is a very simple logo and could have been more successful with more time to make the logo itself.  Even thought there were some pieces that weren’t as successful as others I think I would still buy this product.

Would you buy it?

Im selling figure skates.  My company will be called "The Cutting Edge"  I support this product because I love figure skating and you can't figure skate with our the actual skates.  My studio photos will be taken on a black background to contrast the "normal" white background you see when looking at pictures of ice skates.  Ice skates are not needed to survive but i would definately recomend getting some because figure staking is a lot of fun and its good exercise.

For my project I am selling bath bombs and the name of my company is Not Your Average "Bomb". Having a rough day? Try these! They will de-stress you with their amazing scents and vibrant colors. My lighting for my campaign is going to by somewhat dim, and I'm going to use a fast shutter speed to make the bombs look as though they are floating in space on the black background somewhat. My intentions are to show different bath bombs either in their environment, or somewhere semi-close to their environment.

Advertisement Project

I am selling flowers. The name of my company is called Don't be sour, buy a flower! I support this product because flowers are something that can brighten a person's mood. Flowers are also appealing to the eye. Why look at something boring like dirt, when you can look at flowers? For example, flowers are a beautiful decoration to have around the house. The lighting of this advertisement is not dark, because the flowers should be seen, but not too bright. The flowers are supposed to be the main focus. Since I want the flowers as the main focus, I am using short depth of field in the images to blur anything in the background. My campaign is more playful because flowers are not a necessity, but they are a pleasant accent in a person's life.
I am using this image as inspiration because I like the short depth of field that focuses the flowers.

I am selling blue nail polish. My company name will be "Nailed It" I support this company because I think it's important to keep nails clean cut and looking nice. The lighting will be bright enough to where you can see different shades of blue within the nail polish. My campaign is playful and I will make it playful by having bright colors and a point of view/ depth of field that will catch your eye. You need my product because you will see how nice and smooth the nail polish looks and you will want some for yourself.

This advertisement is successful because it is intriguing and makes you want to use the nail polish for yourself.

Advertisment

My company "Shoe For You" and I am selling shoes. I support it because everything you do basically is with shoes. You can get things stuck in your foot if you don't have on shoes. The lighting will be in the sunlight. I plan on showing just the shoes for shown for the in studio and then out of the studio I'm going to do more serious photos like nails, rocks, glass, mulch. shoes are dimly commodity but if you do by chance steep on a nail he could be dangerous

Advertisement Project

For my project, I am advertising books. I am advertising books because I like to read and reading is a large part of my family. I am going to convince my audience that reading is good. My photos are going to be darker than usual, because I want to portray the feeling of reading in dim lighting. The name of my company will be "Infinite Books". My advertising campaign will both be serious and playful. I will do goofy pictures. My theme of the project will be that books are fun, but they important also. I will show how books are necessary for knowledge.

I like this photo because it very well describes how important books are. I think that the photo is also a very interesting composition, as it is very fluid and the colors fit very well together.

eggcellent

For my project I am advertising eggs. My company will be called eggcellent. I support this product because there are so many different dishes that can be made with eggs. I hope to convince you to buy the product by showing you how eggs can be used in a variety of ways. I want the lighting to be bright and very clean looking. I will show the eggs raw and crack or whole to keep cohesion. I will show the egg being cracked in the picture and an egg that was cracked and fell over. I am also going to have different colors of eggs such as the different shades of brown they can be. My campaign is serious even though they are not needed for survival.

I chose this picture because it shows what I want to do in my project by not just taking an picture of a whole egg but using all of it to make the ad more interesting.

Bouncé

I am selling bouncy balls. The name of my company is Bouncé. I support this product because bouncy balls are fun and everyone needs more fun in their life. I'm going to convince you to buy this product by showing you how fun they can be. I'm also going to make you feel old for not liking them and then you'll feel old and buy them to feel young. For my outside studio photos, I used as bright of lighting as I could because bouncy balls are happy and happiness is represented in the bright lighting. You connote brightness with happiness. My ad campaign is definitely playful. I don't think anyone can take bouncy balls seriously. This product is simply a commodity.
This is what I was thinking of doing when I began this project. Obviously, I couldn't get that many bouncy balls and that amount of space but I tried to achieve something similar with what I had. I love all the color and how the bouncy balls look placed yet in motion.

Ad project

For my project i will be advertising action figures. My company name is 'Alien and Company'. I thought that action figures would be good to use for this project because of all the ways i can set them up. I can make interesting compositions using the figures.

Impastabowl

For my project, i am advertising pasta. The name of my company will be "Impastabowl" (Impossible, in case you didn't catch that). I picked this specific product because of the many possible designs and compositions that can be made with pasta. I also picked this idea because i came up with a spectacular pun for my company name. I will be arranging various pasta noodles in different ways to catch the viewer's attention and make them feel the need to purchase my product.
This is a good example of what i am going for with this project. The raw spaghetti noodles have been arranged in a captivating pattern that immediately catches the attention of the viewer.

Cushion Your Tush

For my ad I am selling toilet paper.  The name of my company will be "Cushion Your Tush." I picked this project idea because even though I want to sell my product I also want the audience to enjoy seeing my images. To do this I put a creative twist into many of the pictures.  For example on of my toilet paper rolls are dressed in a superman costume.  I believe these creative twists will make the viewers want to buy my product. Throughout my project the lighting will vary. Most will have a brighter concept but some will be dimmer however this might change.  At the moment my pictures in the studio have a black background.  For the next couple days I will be shooting more, possibly on white backgrounds. In total this project, as Mr. Zimmerman said, could be described "playful." Even though it is playful it is something necessary.

For my advertisement I am selling candles.  I have not decided what my company name will be but I have some ideas like "Kindling the Candle", "Light in Dark Places", and "Light it Up." I support this product because I have always loved candles and the way they make a room or house smell.  I am going to shoot the candles in dark lighting and have the candle's light be the only light in the picture.  I plan to photograph different sized and shaped candles from different perspectives.  My campaign will not be extremely serious but it also will not be funny and playful.  A candle is simply for enjoyment and not needed for survival.  I used this photograph as inspiration for some of my pictures and tried to recreate this picture but also put my own ideas into it.

Advertisement Project

For my advertisement, I am selling cereal. The name for the company is going to be Honey Loops. I support this product because cereal is the first thing that comes to mind when you think about breakfast. You also usually eat breakfast with your family. To convince the viewers of these ads, that they need to have this cereal, I am going to make the images fun and satisfying. To add to this atmosphere I will have the lighting bright. I plan to keep this advertising playful and focus on what you do with the cereal, as in putting it in a bowl of milk. I also intend to take the cereal further and shoot the components of just the cereal itself. Cereal is not needed for survival, but it is a yummy breakfast food.

This photo is my inspiration for this project. I like where everything is placed and how the bowl is set up. I also like the point of view and how the cereal looks like it is pouring out towards the camera.

I am selling ice cream for my advertisement. The name of my company is "I Scream for Ice Cream!". I support this item because ice cream is usually eaten through good times with friends or family and can bring happiness to anyone. I like ice cream because of the many variety of flavors there are. I am going to convince my audience by making the ice cream in my photos intriguing with vibrant and colorful flavors and have the texture or the ice cream melting be visible. The lighting will be bright to capture the colors and vibrancy of the flavors and create a happy vibe towards the image. I am going to focus on the ice cream in the bowl and on the cones and have the background mainly blurry. I plan to use different toppings such as sprinkles, chocolate syrup, or whipped cream to make the image more playful and keep the viewers eyes on the image. I want to have different backgrounds to keep my images different from one another. Even though ice cream isn't the healthiest and you don't need it to survive, I want to show through my campaign and my images that it can be a fun and playful food with many flavors and toppings that can always make someone happy in any situation.

I chose this photo for my inspiration because the colorful flavors of the ice cream stand out because the background it blurry and it has a good composition. I can visibly see the texture of the ice cream and can see it starting to melt which I want to capture in one of my photos.

My Project

For this project, I am advertising running shoes. The company's name is called Run For Your Life. I support this product because running is fun. Running is one of the best ways to stay fit. Running also helps leave your past behind. What this means is, you're running off calories and winning or accomplishing goals. The lighting is this project was taken in bright setting. I took pictures from different angles of a running shoe. In these images, the shoe was running over cupcakes, cookies, and through crushed up Oreos. My campaign is definitely  playful. While you don't need a running shoe to survive, you do need to be healthy to live a long full life.
In this photo, the cleat/shoe is running fast. This would help advertise by showing the different varieties of shoes. This implies that the shoe will be very fast, and you will be too.

My project

For my project i am advertising pancakes. The name of my company is Flippin' Crazy. I named it thins since pancakes are usually associated with a southern meal, hence the spelling of flipping, and crazy for all of the endless toppings. I support this project because pancakes are mostly associated with good memories, like making them with friends or family, or eating the delicious flat cake for he first time. I hope to convince people to buy the item by using bright lighting, and capturing photos of the most fluffy, colorful or simple pancakes. I am going to show cohesion by taking pictures of pancakes in different stages, such as the batter, cooking, decorating, and finally eating them. I plan to make my campaign more playful since pancakes are not necessarily a serious food. Pancakes are usually not necessary for surveil either (unless your stuck in a diner) this is another reason i hope to make it playful.
I posted this image because it would be a great image to represent a pancake after it has been decorated with fruit. The white background and brought lighting keeps the focus on the appetizing pancake. Also the lines on the pancake cause movement because your eyes automatically try to follow the eyes around it. The blueberries give the simple layout a nice pop of color that draws eyes in and causes hunger in viewers.

My project

I am selling masquerade masks, and my business is called Behind the Mask. I wanted to do this project, because I like the way that the masks look, especially the way that the light hits the glitter and the contrast of color and the background. The lighting that I used was low lighting so that it did not take away from the black and seemingly floating in outer space look. I intend on arranging the masks in a fun but subtle way so that it gets the idea of them being a fun idea across to the viewer, yet it does not distract from any of the other masks in the photo. I think that my project is for comedy and  is not used for daily life, but is a fun idea for special occasions.

I am selling carrots for my advertisement. The name of my company is "You won't believe your eyes!". I support my item because carrots are a healthy alternative to fattening foods such as potato chips. I am planning to convince my audience by the playfulness of the product since my target audience are children. The lighting will be bright and will focus on how carrots enhance your eyesight and are healthy. To do this i put googly eyes on the carrots and glasses on the greasy bag of chips. I all showed how these carrots come straight from the Earth showing the healthy side. Some other pictures i will do are carrots in front of a soup to show the multiple uses. I will also show carrots peeping out of a grocery bag with the giant goggly eyes. Another photo will be be my sister eating a carrot from her mouth down to show how kids can like them too. My campaign is playful in it's fun message with healthy benefits. You do not need carrots for survival, but by eating them you are treating yourself to better, healthier eyes and body.

I like this photo because not only is the lighting and composition effective, but it is showing another use of carrots which i plan to do in one photo.

My product is 24 hour lip stain. The name of my company is lipSTAINED. I support this product because, as a dancer and cheerleader, one thing that bothers me the most is if I put lipstick on at the beginning of a performance or competition, two or three hours later it has faded rubbed off. Lip stain solves that problem by being a highly pigmented and long lasting lip product. To convince consumers to buy my product, I will be showing the annoyances of short term lipstick such as: it rubbing off on your wine glass, coffee cup, etc. I am doing low, romantic lighting against a black background to further dramatize the objects. I want consumers to see that by using my product, you won't have to go through these predicaments if you use my product. My product will stain your lips, not your clothing, glasses, or cups. My campaign is serious with a playful and flirty vibe. You don't need my product for survival, but after using it, you won't be able to live without it.
This picture is what I used of inspiration, because as a woman, the last thing you want to see while drinking is a big, fat, slobbery lip stain on your wine glass. This picture shows this annoyance, but explains it in a chic and elegant way.

For my Advertisment project, I am selling candy but each picture will be the combination of candy under its "category". The name  of my company is probably going to be "crazy candies". I support this product because you can never have to much candy and when you are down, I feel like it can make you more happy than just some bland boring food. There are also so many different kinds which makes it interesting. I am going to convince you to buy what I am selling by the categories under which the candies go with. The lighting is going to be "in the middle" as in not  to bright but not to dark. My intentions are to show  sour candies together, sweet candies, hard candies, but then add something to go with each picture. For example, I can crush Oreos and put sour gummy worms on top of the Oreos as in it is "dirt". This is simply commodity. It is not needed to survive.

advertisement

  For the assignment of creating our own ad, I had originally wanted to make fun of the concept of expensive and perishable materials be a necessity in life. But now I am going to photograph flowers and all the occasions they are used for. My three studio shots will include; a valentine scene, a get well scene, and a congratulations scene. All of these occasions, flowers are often given as gifts. Im also going to show how flowers are put on headstones and used as gifts for a time of mourning. The purpose of the project is to make you want to buy flowers and to show the vast differences they are used for. My lighting is going to vary based on the scenes, for the headstone scene the lighting will be darker and with a sad gloom feel. My studio shots are brighter lit to go with the scenes of happy occasions. My company is going to be called, "Pick a Petal'. I want to sell the product because the industry is used for a wide variety and it makes sense to want to sell something that is in constant demand. Flowers can make someone smile for days, so I want to promote that as well as giving flowers to someone you love, wether on a headstone or in person. The product is not needed to sustain life but is needed to sustain a happy relationship (;

This add makes you want to go and buy beautiful roses just for yourself, or to see a happy look on a loved ones face.

What are you selling? What is the name of your company? Why do you support this product? How are you going to convince me that I need what you are selling? What is the lighting going to be like? I want you to describe your intentions and how you plan to exhibit cohesion and intentional composition. Is your campaign playful or serious? Do I need this for survival or is it simply commodity?

THIS IS A POST NOT A COMMENT!

This is from a commercial, but may be one of the most memorable ad campaigns in the history of media campaigns. Enjoy!

This is a good advertisement for pancakes because of the setup of the picture. First of all the fact that its shallow depth of field causes your eyes to focus on the pancakes, but if your eyes do start to gaze to the background you see maple syrup and milk. Both think go perfectly with pancakes. The pancakes have a cut out with the syrup dripping down. The pancakes look so fluffy with them being cut in half. This is a good advertising photo because of how the table was set up and the depth of field

My idea for my advertisement is to do lipstick. I like this photo because its not just plain old lipstick, its captivating.
This ad is for sunflower cooking oil. I like the reflection and it makes it seem like the sunflower is the actual thing being used to cook with.

I want to advertise material shown as a object that you need to have to live and make some type of joke out of it. Basically, selling nothing.

ad

I like this ad bc its kinda clever

I think this photo is interesting based on the perspective and placement of each element. The red cereal also pops and stands out of the other less colorful cereal.

My advertisement is based on government and reality. I have been to this famous site located in Washington, DC. I think it shows the purpose of having men be a strong part of the lives of others. If we all fall down together, we stand back up together. DC is a place where hopes and dreams collide. It is a place that is special to me and my family. You don't have to look far to find inspiration.

Peanut Butter

My ad for this project will be on peanut butter. I like this ad on peanut butter because it is funny.

Good Advertising

I find this advertising really successful because of the way it stands out.  Typical billboard advertising is flat and typically unnoticeable.  However, because of this 3d element, it jumps out at you and really gets your attention.  Besides for this 3d element, it is also humorous.  The 3d and humorous elements both create a unique piece of advertising that people want to share, giving it a top spot in a 'good advertising' google image search.

carrot

My ad will be for carrots. I like this picture because it is showing the multi uses for carrots such as a healthy drink.

Advertising

I like this ad from Nesquik.  This ad reminds me of farming, and how kids play with cars.

Advertisement Idea

I think this a good image for advertising ice cream for many reasons. The background is blurry which makes your eyes focus on the two different and vibrant colors and makes them stand out. I like how you can visibly see the texture of the ice cream and how it is melting at the time.

Add post

I think that this is a good add do to the three dimensional look of the straw. I also like how the lipstick and teeth are the same colors as the pepsi icon. The person is smiling and enjoying the pepsi, which makes someone want to try it, due to someone else enjoying it.

This ad for coffee excellently advertises coffee. This picture has many factors that make this picture intriguing. For example, the background feels very warm and welcoming as I would imagine the coffee would be. Also, even though people drink coffee throughout the year, coffee has a certain fall/winter feel to it, as does the background and the steam. This picture connects with the senses we all have, the steam makes it so you can almost taste it(figuratively), the coffee beans remind you of the smell, the welcoming back ground makes it so you can reach out and grab it, and you can obviously see the cup. When you see an ad like this, it creates a craving for it.

Advertisement Project

I like this image because the colors are vibrant, but simple. Since the flowers in the vase are the only thing in the image, it is very simple which I like. I also think that the focus on the purple flowers makes it interesting.

I think this is a good advertisement because it is a good composition. It is interesting and makes someone want to buy a book. It provides a new perspective on book reading. It describes being "attached" to a book. It is different and not used before. I like this advertisement because it is unique.

Advertisement Picture

This picture is good because it has no label and has a lot of colors so it stands out. This is also a simple idea. The different and vibrant colors make it fun to look at and the texture also adds something to the image also.

title colin andrews ad

this image is a great ad because it is creative and funny. It makes sense and is witty. It claims that the smart car is a smart option and the humor is a dumber option.

Lollipop ad

This ad is effective because it clearly shows that the lollipop is sugar free because the ants aren't attracted to it.

Advertisment

I would like to do shoes for my project because there are so many different shoes because there are multiple types of shoes that do not have the brand anywhere on the shoe or maybe just in one place.

Advertisement Post

This picture is a good advertisement because it advertises Lipton Tea in a unique way that catches the viewers eye. It almost tells the story of how the tea in the bag got to where it's at now.
