Outdoors /OLY

For our projects, we are asked to photograph something we are passionate about.  I have two ideas, not sure which one I want to go with quite yet.  The first would be photographing the outdoors.  I would go to various parks and search the woods around my house.  I've found some pretty gnarly stuff back there like decomposing animals that would make great photos.  Maybe get some type of circle of life theme in there as well.  The second would be photographing where I train during the off-season for rowing, in the back-room of a warehouse with a bunch of tatted older dudes.  Its an olympic-style weightlifting gym, so I would try to capture pictures of people, especially their faces, mid lift.

As far as similar artistic styles, any photographer from Outdoor Photographer seems to fit the part.  And for the olympic lifting, the guys that operate Hookgrip.
